I have to admit, I see the word dummy and I am intrigued. Do I read it straight ‘side one dummy‘? Or is it ‘side one, dummy‘? Or possibly ‘side, one dummy‘?

However you read the name you will definitely want to download this free music sampler if you are a fan of alternative rock. In fact, the very first song Requiem for a Dying Song is what drew me in (after the word dummy, that is). One of the few songs I really like that I actually do not already have mingled on my cherished iPod.

There are 13 songs to fill your ears with musically bliss. Okay, maybe not bliss, but it will fill your ears with something. Could be cotton if you are not partial to alternative rock and bands called Flogging Molly and such.

Spring Sampler from Beehouse Records

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I ♥ music! Especially when it’s free. You’ve heard me say that time and time again. Oh, sure, not literally “heard” me, but I’ve written those words for you to read many times before. Better?

Yet, there is something special about this sampler. Maybe it’s my trip down memory lane. Maybe it’s something in the air. Maybe it’s just really that good. Whatever the case may be, I would recommend checking this one out.

Ten songs taking me back to a time when I was wee little. Ten songs reminding me of times I never experienced, but have read about in books, watched in movies and on television, and listened to in the many songs played over the years.

I love filling up my iPod with free music I find on Amazon.com. This week they have a Latin music sampler with 21 songs. Well, 20 of them are 100% free, 1 does have a cost of 99¢ [I have noted this below]. Still, 20 songs for free!

There is a wide array of Latin sounds here, too. Some songs are completely in Spanish, some are a mix of Spanish and English, and some others are instrumentals. If you like to experience a variety of music from all over the world, you are sure to find something in this sampler.

I downloaded songs 3, 12, & 18, but you might find you like them all. I really like Gonzalo Yañez [number 18] and first heard his music from a free sample over at iTunes.

I first heard Andrea Bocelli when a co-worker brought in a cd of his to work. It was so beautiful and relaxing. And yes, I have to admit I first thought it would be a female singing. Well, the cd was not the original and there was no picture.

Andrea Bocelli’s voice is so soothing and great for those days when you want to lose yourself in a good book with your trusty drink by your side [coffee, tea, hot cocoa, wine]. He’s also great to listen to when you are trying to write a good book, like I am trying and probably failing to do during this month’s NaNoWriMo.

So, when I received my weekly Amazon email of new music releases, including their freebies [no this is not free], I was immediately drawn to My Christmas and had to have a peek.

There are 15 wonderfully sung Christmas songs included in My Christmas and it is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Great for those days of decorating, baking, or when you head out to do a little shopping [Christmas or otherwise]. Some all-time favorites include: White Christmas, Angels We Have Heard On High, Adeste Fidelis, and Silent Night.
