Amanda’s Experience
I enlisted the assistance of my daughter, Amanda. This was no easy feat considering she is the pickiest of my eaters and the thought of anything ‘fish’ does not interest her in the least.
Amanda mixed some in with her vanilla instant breakfast. The powder is whitish and blended in nicely with her breakfast drink. She said she could smell something fishy, but continued with the experiment. There is a faint fishy aftertaste. By the time she was down to the last sip she couldn’t drink anymore and was not impressed.
Now, my child is a picky eater and it is quite possible that instant breakfast and Omega-3 powder is not the best combination. I would suggest putting in a nice warm soup or maybe even mixing in with your child’s mashed potatoes and gravy. Something that will most definitely mask any fish-like aftertaste.
