Review: Hot Love Gel Packs for Massage

A few months ago I signed up to be a reviewer for Eden Fantasys. For those of you who may not know, Eden Fantasys is an adult store on the web. I’m a bit old fashioned in that I don’t discuss my private life, but Eden Fantasys offers more than just your typical sex toys. One case in point, Hot Love Gel Packs.

How they work:

1. Bend metal disk back and forth until crystals form.
2. Feel the warm hugs and hot kisses heat up to a thrilling temperature of 54º C (129º F).
3. Apply gel pack to desired body area and feel the warmth.

Re-usable: Boil for 7-10 minutes in a pot of boiling water or until crystals are gone.

My thoughts:

Pros:

• I found the heat lasted about 45 minutes, which is just about perfect for alleviating the pain of sore muscles.
• After bringing water to a boil, it only took about 2 minutes to reheat the gel packs.
• Gel packs are reusable.
• Price point. At under $10, these are well worth the cost.
• Convenient. Each gel pack is just a little bit bigger than the palm of my hand. Can be moved and placed over various areas of the body depending on needs.

Cons:

• I found the metal disk difficult to break.
• Only comes in pink.

After breaking the metal disk the gel pack goes from a gel-like liquid state to a more semi-solid state. When cold, these are quite solid. After boiling they return to more their original gel-like state.

I used these on my sore muscles after a grueling workout. I can say the only thing better would be soaking in a hot bath.
