Earlier this month a simple little book with an even simpler message was released.
You are enough… just the way you are!
Operation Beautiful: Transforming the Way You See Yourself One Post-it Note at a Time by Caitlin Boyle is more than just a collection of Post-It notes. It’s more than a few random stories from women just like you and me. It’s a movement to change the way we view ourselves.

Throughout the pages of Operation Beautiful you will find inspiration and community. Because we are, a community. Women spend much of their time competing with one another. It only seems fitting that the time has come to end the competition and embrace our shared beauty. Every wrinkle, roll, curve, bump, gray hair. All of it.

I would put “You are beautiful even in the paper gown” on the bathroom mirrors in my ob/gyn’s office. Nothing makes me more self conscious than having to undress at the doctor’s office.
