This is a great deal for those wanting a more professional software option to keep up with their blogging business income. Oh, yes, blogging income is taxable income.
My thoughts on Peachtree
Honestly, I’m a Quickbooks person, but to me Peachtree and Quickbooks are similar enough that I would have no problem using either. Then again, my main experience with accounting software is organization specific and not off-the-shelf.
That said…
Peachtree helps you set up your chart of accounts, keep track of income received, expenses paid, then generate reports based on what you need to know. This makes life so much simpler come tax time.
Here’s the deal
- Staples has Peachtree Pro Accounting 2011 on sale for $165
- Purchase between 8/1 – 8/7 and get $165 back via mail-in rebate (limit 1 per household)
- Mail in your receipt, proof of purchase and rebate form by 9/7/10.
Make this an even sweeter deal
As always, I recommend shopping through a site that pays you back whenever you choose to shop online. Big Crumbs (.8%),Cashbaq (0%), Ebates (2%), Mr. Rebates (3%), & ShopAtHome (3%) are all highly recommended. Each one varies slightly ~ Big Crumbs has no limit on payment but some of the other sites offer sign on bonuses.
Save for college with UPromise (1%).
Additionally, be sure to look for more coupon codes at Retailmenot.com.
