I definitely enjoyed my time spent over there in VA. Spring was just beginning and it was gorgeous.
But your photos are really really nice, I like the old truck and tractor.

@Ms. Freeman, The one thing I do like is the changing of the seasons. A huge difference from growing up in South Florida [summer, summer, summer, summer]. Dwayne just bought the old truck from our neighbor. He’s taken to calling it ‘Mater, like in the movie Cars.
Chicken butts! Chicken butts! I love love love chicken butts! I would love to live where you do. It’s so beautiful. I’ve even begun to dream about owning chickens. Thanks for sharing!

@Heather Kephart, We’ve got lots of chicken butts! They are such great animals to watch. If you ever get the chance, I would definitely recommend owning a chicken or two.
Hi Anne, brilliant pictures, they’re all crisp and clear, love the way that you have used Flickr to make a slide show

Haha I thought my day was going great, that was until you reminded me that Florida pretty much has NO SPRING. It goes from super hot to kind of cold, to slightly warm to blazing hot again. I hate it. Beautiful slide show though, does wonders for making someone jealous hehe.

@Extreme John, If it wasn’t for our mini farm, and lack of funding, I would seriously be considering a move back to Florida. I swear every time I cross the state line I feel like I’m back home. Good thing I have family to go visit when the urge hits.
