Hershey's Better Basket Blog Hop

♫ Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity, hoppity Easter’s on its way! ♫

So often we think donation automatically equals money. Ever heard the saying “time is money”? Volunteering is another great way to give, especially when you have the time yet little money to spare.

There are other ways to help as well.

How would you like to donate without it costing you a dime?

Oh, and very little of your time is needed, too!

Hershey’s has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network for over 20 years.

Wow, 20 years! I did not know this.

CMN is a non-profit alliance of children’s hospitals dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education across North America.

- Hershey’s

This Easter Hershey’s will donate up to $5,000 to CMN [$10 for each blog who participates in their Better Blog Hop].

See, donating without parting with any money and just a teensy bit of your time. Good feelings all around!

Thank you to Connie at Brain Foggles for sending me the lovely Easter Basket above. Connie was able to give three actual baskets to deserving children as well. And what a great way to show our children the gift of giving to others in need.

Ever wonder why Mother Teresa was so giving. She received so much in return for her selflessness. Better than any amount of money.

Passing on the basket – paying it forward

Easter Basket

I want to pass this on to everyone who stops by, so feel free to join in and grab a basket. It doesn’t matter what country in which you reside [everyone can participate, we all count] – grab a basket and let’s get to that $5,000 goal together!
