I haven’t posted one of my deals in quite some time, but I thought today’s shopping was worthy of such an honor.
And to think, just yesterday I decided CVS wasn’t worth my time this week
I happened upon Jamie’s CVS trip today and looked through my uncut coupons. Once I formulated a plan there was little to stop me from going forth and being frugal!

O Amanda, Amanda! Wherefore art thou, Amanda?
Then I attempted to bring some food to Amanda, but the school couldn’t locate her. They thought she was at lunch, but they had the wrong class. Poor thing. She was not feeling well all day.
After the failed attempt to bring Amanda food, Megan and I headed up to Staples and the bank. This meant a trip up to Roanoke. I thought we might run a few more errands; we really had no big plans. I could have hit Walgreens, but it wasn’t a must. So, back to town and to the second CVS.

So, when you do the math we bought $58.13 worth of items, used $31 in EBs, earned $39 in EBs, and paid $1.04 out of pocket for a profit of $6.96 after tax!
For those of you completely confused check out CVS for Newbies or any of the great sites on my Frugal Info page.

@Jamie, You are a great motivator! If I hadn’t seen your recent post then I never would have bothered with CVS and would have missed out.

I barely ever use coupons, but I should. Think of the money I could save.

@Rose, I never pay for hair care, health & beauty, deodorant, air fresheners and have plenty leftover to donate ~ and this is the good stuff – Herbal Essence, Garnier, Pantene, and others. I save on food, too. A few weeks ago I bought 5 boxes of Special K cereal for 38¢ total. It does take a bit of work sometimes, but it can really be worth it. I have some great sites listed in my frugal info tab that are very helpful in getting started. Can you tell I’m passionate about this?
