I have never seen a dog sleep at the top of a chair the way Ivy is sleeping.

@Blackeyed Chuchie, So sorry to here about Chuckie. I couldn’t imagine losing Ivy and know I would grieve her the same were it any other member of my family.

The longer we have out dog the more I realize she really is just another one of our children. She talks back, doesn’t listen, begs for food, wants all your attention. Overall, I think she’s pretty happy and knows she has a good life here.

If allowed all of our five aspin dogs would love to lie on our sofa. And Chuckie, who passed away early this year, loves to rest on my sister’s shoulder like a child.

They look like they are having a mother-son moment. It’s amazing and still puzzling how dogs can act similar to humans. We shouldn’t wonder at all because the fact that they can love us shows that humans are not the only loving and smart creature on earth.

That's too funny, my dog is a choc lab and he too thinks he's human. He was a rescue dog and got real sick right after I got him and I didnt have the heart to kick him off the bed or the couch, now I am paying for it. But I really dont mind. Hii Anne.. my dog does behave the same way as yours. He sleeps like we sleep, barks on us when we are eating as if he also wants to eat with us and bunch other. My mom always believes he is something special and very intelligent. btw, for a coincidence my dog looks similar to yours. If you can contact me I will send you his photo.
