This has turned out to be a pretty good week here at the old homestead. Let’s see, I am up to just over 22,000 [yes, that is 22 thousand] words in my quest for 50,000 words and my first ever novel [NaNoWriMo Rocks!]. The kids are home from school today. Lots of flooding here in Southwest Virginia. It’s days like this I am glad I have no job.
And I have been winning… all ~ over ~ the ~ place! Yessireebob, it is fun, too.
- First I won a Unilever gift pack over at Liz’s place, Sweetwater Savings. It arrived via UPS yesterday. Lots of great stuff in there, too! Thanks, Liz!
- Next, I won 250 labels/stickers from Barbara over at Barbara’s Beat. I found Barbara through the forums over at MomDot.com. I cannot say enough good things about MomDot, the site and community. Oh, and right now you can enter to win 50 Custom Thank You Cards. Thanks, Barbara!
- Then, I won Brandi Carlile’s new cd ~ Giving up the Ghost ~ from Jill at Musings From Me. This arrived via FedEx today. Jill is another fine blogger I have found through the MomDot community. In celebration of Jill’s Bloggieversary, there are many giveaways going on over at Musings From Me. Thanks, Jill!
And I would love to win this Kindle e-Reader from Noobie! {My fingers are crossed}
Cha-Ching in my mailbox
Today I received two (2) $10 Kellogg’s Fuel for School Rebates & a $25 Visa gift card for referring Megan to Wachovia [oh, and Megan received her $25 gift card today, too!]. Wow, $70 just like that!
Etc., etc., etc.
Then there were a ton of other great freebies and coupons and all kinds of great things. And check out the full size box of garlic mashed potatoes! Oh, and I bought those LED tea lights for $1.49 shipped. Thanks to Heidi at Little People Wealth for the heads up on that deal! [note - I only received one Nature Valley Nut Cluster and Granola Bar sample, but it is shown in two pictures]
