I think we all think our writing is crap. We are definitely our own worst critics. I am finally starting to let go a little and accept that while I may not be a bestseller [yet], I am a writer.

I usually think what I am writing is crap. I still can’t accept when others tell me I’m a funny and passionate writer. But I have been writing since I was a child; it’s who I am. I live, I breathe, so I must write it all down.

Whenever I start to get bored I start on something else. Try doing something out of character. Even if it doesn’t fit your story now, maybe it will cause some other thoughts to jar loose and you will find a renewed sense of plot. You are doing wonderfully with your word count and 1/4 of the month is behind us. You can do it! [think Tony Little and The Gazele]
