6 things (good or bad) you credit your mother-in-law for

First, I have to say that it hurts me to end that statement with a preposition. Yes, I am a nerd.

Oh, I know there are many out there who do not care much for their mother-in-law. I am not one of them. My mother-in-law passed away in November 1994. It was the day after Thanksgiving. I was 23 years old. Wow, has it really been 15 years?

1. a woman can do anything, even fix a radiator, if she really wants
2. my love of macaroons – she made the best & gave me the recipe
3. Amanda’s rocking obsession – apparently this is a passed down tradition
4. teaching me there is no shame in dumpster diving if it means making your [grand]daughter happy
5. reminding me of the importance of listening, especially when you are the only one they can tell their fears and acceptances
6. my sister – there aren’t many people who have put up with me for the past 21 years, I know it’s not easy

Goodness, this was a sappy post. Good thing you can’t see me I’m not crying. My eyes get all puffy; it’s not a pretty sight.
