No, that was not a typo; that was what they would call a subliminal message. Write now. Right now. You should be gathering your ideas and making preparations. The time is almost upon us. The time where we all rise up and say ‘I will write a minimum 50,000 word novel [or some semblance of one] during the month of November’. Oh yes, you know it ~> baby! It is almost time for NaNoWriMo {National Novel Writing Month}. Go sign up, log in, get ready, and in eleven days, get writing!
Oh, and as a special little bit of inspiration from me to you let me get you started with a little poem. Not here, here.
Need a writing buddy? Just friend me. No more excuses. This year I am reaching my goal. What about you?

I don’t know! I want to do it, but I need to be sure it will help me in some way. That is a LOT of time to devote, virtually every free second of time we have.
Do you plot out your book and characters beforehand, or just wing it?

I think the idea is to have some idea, but to just let the writing flow. You’re not supposed to worry too much about form, spelling, punctuation, anything really. Just write and then when November is over you go back and edit, add, revise, etc, etc, etc.
You could always try it out and if you find it is not helpful for your needs, then stop. It’s not like the NaNoWriMo police will come take away your writing license [will they?].
Last year I signed up and thought about it. This year I plan to write. Even if I don’t get 50,000 words I do hope to get a swift kick in my rear and some usable writing.

Hello Anne!
So, if I join NaNoWriMo you’d be my writing buddy along with JenaIsle? he he he.
I keep forgetting to register although I want to. Maybe write more about my Zorlonian story or make a completely different one.
What happens if I didn’t finish? Time to read the TOA of the site I guess. Or I’ll just wait for your reply. LOL
Lazy me…

Hey Z!
Just for you I read through the NaNo FAQ page and found they will not take away your writing privileges if you do not finish. Thank goodness for that!
Here is hoping we find something wonderful amidst all the crap that is sure to fly as we hunker down and churn out 50,000 [or more] words in 30 days.
