I am a beginner myself and have found organization is key. I do so much better when I have everything planned out and my coupons in order. I cannot believe I used to think shopping Walmart was the way to save on groceries and beauty products. Now I hardly ever shop there. I purchase almost everything at Kroger and CVS.
