Today DH, Stephen, & I dug up two bushels of potatoes and picked the last of the beans. Then DH plowed the ground in preparation for the Fall crop. Later DH cleaned out the chicken coop and tonight we put fresh straw down. Those chickens sure do have the life!
What was I doing while DH did all that work on the “farm”? Homework, studying, and a final exam for Principles of Corporate Finance. Whew! Everything is done and I “A”ced the exam (100% – oh, yeah!). Five more classes to go and my goal is to get my degree with a 4.0 GPA.

Wow! Look at all those potatoes! That’s great.

This was our best year yet on the potatoes. I made some for dinner and they were quite tasty.
We are still holding out hope for some tomatoes and peppers. And should be getting eggs soon, too. It’s kind of nice being more self-sufficient, too.
