I rarely shop Food Lion. I am not against Food Lion, but they are a tad bit further (farther?) than Kroger (and Walmart, for that matter) and I find I save more shopping Kroger.
It is always nice when you get a friendly cashier, too. In fact, they greet you when you walk in Food Lion. My cashier smiled real big as he watched my total drop. And, Kroger always has friendly staff, too. It makes shopping so much nicer.
