Bargain Plants @ Home Depot

Today we travelled to DH’s brother’s to spend some time and break bread with family on this wonderful Independence Day.  He wanted to find a sprinkler on a tripod for our garden and I located one at Home Depot last night.  So, we stopped on our way to his brother’s house.  They did have the sprinkler ($40) and we decided not to get it at this time.  They did, however, have quite a few tomato and pepper plants out for quick sale.  The sign said “Buy One @ $1.98 Get Three Free”.  BUT, the saleslady said we could have as many as we wanted for $1.98.  It seems they needed to get rid of them today or else they will just be tossed tomorrow.

We picked out 21 plants total.  Most were bell peppers, but we did get a few banana peppers and tomatoes as well.  What a great deal!  We were really glad we stopped.  Guess I know what we will be doing tomorrow.
