I must say, I was so excited when I received this that I immediately placed it into my dryer WITHOUT taking a picture first! [slapping hand to forehead] The Bounce Dryer Bar is the newest way to soften your clothes in the dryer while preventing static cling. No more remembering to place a dryer sheet in with your clothes. The Bounce Dryer Bar lasts from 2 – 4 months depending on the size you purchase. Mine is good for 2 months, but will probably last me much longer. In the summer I hang my wash on the clothesline as much as possible.
I did have several loads of laundry to do (with a family of 5 it seems that is every other day) and wanted to give this a good test. What did I test it on? DH’s work clothes, of course. DH is a roofer by trade and his work clothes get nasty and scratchy. Not to mention he does not like the way his socks scratch his feet when they are hung to dry on the clothesline. The clothes smell great. In fact, the entire room smells great. They were soft and static cling free.
How to Use: The Bounce Dryer Bar is super easy to use. Peel off the strip on the back of the base to reveal a sticky back. Press firmly on a clean, flat space on your dryer drum. That is it! Over time the bar will shrink and the word BOUNCE will fade. Just press on the button on the side and slide the old bar out and slide a new bar in. Voila! You are now ready for another 2 – 4 months (depending on the bar purchased).
I have not seen these in the store just yet, but would definitely be interested. Especially if it saves me from having to store dryer sheets. That and Ivy dog likes to tear these apart and strew them throughout the house!
