I posted about this two months ago and have a link to the contest in my sidebar. Now the contest is nearing its end and I feel it is time to re-post. My daughter, Megan, submitted her photo into the Brickfish contest “Show Us A Smile 2″ for a chance to win $500. The catch? She has to be one of the top 150 to win. Currently she is at 160. She could really use your help. You do not need to sign up to vote or leave a review. She gets points for votes, reviews, and for how viral she is (how many sites she is posted, such as Facebook, MySpace, forums, Twitter, and blog pages). You can vote once every 8 hours and leave as many constructive reviews as you like. The contest ends June 30th and she is just 10 places shy of winning something.
A little about Megan:
Megan graduated high school this past Saturday with a GPA of 3.8. She has been an active member of the National Honor Society since her sophomore year, a member of the History Club, International Club, FFA, Historian for Band junion & senior years, a member of the marching band since Freshman year, volunteered with the YMCA summer camp for 4 years (7th – 10th grade), volunteered with the library her junior year, and participated in numerous volunteer events this past year.
Megan will be attending Radford University in the Fall and will be majoring in Music Education. She has been accepted into Radford’s Honor and Music Programs. Megan has wanted to be a teacher since as far back as she can remember. She is dedicated, organized, and responsible. Oh, and she loves helping others succeed.
