I think I spent 2 hours in Walgreens today. Insane? I think so. It is frustrating that the pain medicine (Bayer, Ecotrin, etc.) are ALWAYS GONE. It does not matter if I am there the very first day. It is almost as if they stock a handful. So, I shopped for other deals. My $11 in RRs were expiring 6/3 & 6/4 and I did not think I would be back before then.
After the big no go on the Ecotrin, I headed over to the clearance section. I picked up a Jane lip moisturizer and Jane eye pencil to inquire on a price. These ended up costing more than I was willing to pay and back they went. Here is what I bought:

RR for Carmex did not print
Okay, my RRs did not print for the Carmex. I did not recall reading about this and thought I may have read the display incorrectly or it was old. So, I took everything out to the car and then went back in to verify the RR deal on the Carmex. I bought the correct item and the dates were good. Bracing myself for the problem manager, I asked the cashier who I would speak to if a RR did not print. She said she would call the manager and I told her I would be right back with my receipts and the items. I had to wait a short time (not sure it was even 2 minutes) and the manager apologized for keeping me and asked how she could help. I let her know about the RR not printing and that I had bought two. She took one of my receipts and said she could not force a RR to print, but refunded (that’s right REFUNDED) $4 on my card.
I think I may have stumbled on the twilight zone of Walgreens where everyone is nice! 
THAT IS AMAZING…My Wags. always tells me that I am trying to commit coupon fraud with manufacturer’s coupons…if they don’t want people to get the deals why have the sales??
