Day 12 Legs & Back AND Day 13 Kenpo X

My punishment for being a slacker… four days in a row of Ab Ripper X.  Good thing I like Ab Ripper X.  

Let us recap: Saturday – no workout; out of town, Sunday – now workout; out of town, Monday – no workout; recovering from out of town, Tuesday & Wednesday – workouts for Saturday & Sunday, Thursday – no workout; did not feel well.  Today is Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X, and Kenpo X.  Saturday will be Chest & Back, Ab Ripper X, and Plyometrics (I might do Core Synergistics here so I do not hurt myself).  Sunday will be Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X, and Yoga X.  And, finally, Monday will be Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X; putting me back on schedule.  I am tired just thinking about it.  

Day 12 – Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X

Legs was tough!  Do you p90x?  If you do, then you know what I mean by calf raises – ouch!  And what is it with the one leg wall squat?  Can you get your leg parallel?  I can get mine up and hold it for the time alloted.  It is hard, but 10 second intervals makes it bearable.  I needed to add a band for my pull ups.  I do not have a bar so I have to do the modification with the bands.  Not that I could possibly do a pull up right now anyway.  Why is legs so painful?  Or is it just me.  I confess I skipped the scissors, roll up – v up, and leg climb today.  They hurt my back.  I can do all 50 of the mason twists, though.  And I did everything for the full 25 reps except the side v ups.  I did 14 each of these.  

Day 13 – Kenpo X

I will be doing Kenpo later tonight and will update accordingly.

** UPDATE **

I have fallen behind and I cannot catch up!  Instead of beating myself up for falling behind I am going to pick myself back up and just start where I left off without worrying if I am a few days behind in my workout.  So, Kenpo was not done yet, but I will be working on getting back on schedule today.  Oh, and as far as my going out of town, I will still workout as planned.  Something will be better than nothing even if it is a little backwards.  :)

    Good attitude. Don’t stop, just keep going where you left off. You will feel great about it later! Who cares if you do the p90x in 100 days or more, the point is YOU ARE DOING IT! Way to go!

    My husband and I are finishing up our first round of p90x this week. We have fallen behind many times, but we are sticking to it and starting it again. Good luck!!
