We all know the story of Narcissus.  The boy who fell in love with his own reflection.  It is said he died mourning the inability to obtain his one great love, himself.  When the nymphs came to retrieve his body for funeral he was gone and a flower, which today bears his name, remained.

Well, the other day I was showing Dwayne pictures I had taken of the kids, the farm, him.  We came across one and he could not take his eyes off of it.  At dinner he went on about how I should enter it into a contest of some sort.  I really cannot blame him for being so enamored.  Of course, this reminded me of the story of Narcissus.  I will be sure to keep him away from this post, lest he gets to staring again!  =)
