This award states I must share 10 honest things about me and pass it on to another deserving soul.

Wow, ten honest things about me. Where to begin.

I love music – any kind of music. Press random on my iPod and you could get anything from rap to classical to country to hip hop and more. I also have some Christian rock and old songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s. My favorite is alternative.
My favorite color is green. My mom tried to make me think it was pink, but it is definitely green, or any earth tone color I happen upon.
Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a doctor (cardiologist to be exact) and writer when I grew up. I became a bookkeeper. Maybe this just means I have not grown up yet.
I love math and reading and writing. Most people find this odd.
I miss watching episodes of The Three Stooges and The Little Rascals. What can I say, I think they are funny!
My favorite book is Jonathan Livingston Seagull. My mom gave it to me to read when I was 8 or 9 years old although she did not read it until some 25 years later.
Chicken is a word used often in our house. And, yes, there is a story behind it.
I love to exercise, but am terrible about disciplining myself in keeping a schedule. One of these days I will get it together. I did for 10 months prior to losing my job. You would think I would have the time now. Go figure.
I like to read and watch television at the same time. It is hard for me to just watch television so I need something else to occupy me. Sometimes I do word puzzles.
My kids and I enjoy playing educational-type games like Scrabble or Boggle even when we can play a video game such as the Wii.

That was harder than it looks. And that was the EASY part. Now to pass on this lovely award. There are so many deserving bloggers. Every single frugal, financial, money management blog I have had the pleasure to read has helped me to stay on track these past months, that and rarely leaving the house. And then there are the blogs I follow for entertainment and other reasons. Boy am I glad there are so many different points of view and personalities. And I am glad I get to get a glimpse into their world, if even for just a few moments. I am going to pass this award on to Toni-Lynn at Grocery Price Blog. Not only can Toni-Lynn stretch a dollar by purchasing upwards to $500 in groceries and spending a mere $3 (approximately), but she has organized a virtual food drive and is giving back so much of what she has been given. And is encouraging others to do so as well. Congratulations, Toni-Lynn.
